Andrew Tshabangu

Biography

Born in 1966 in Soweto, Andrew Tshabangu has studied at a number of institutions, amongst them the Institute of Advancement for Journalism (1998) and at the Alexandra Community art centre in Johannesburg (1991). He was awarded a scholarship by the Gasworks Art Studios in London (1998) and taught photography at the Children's Photography Workshop (1995) and at the Market Photo Workshop in Johannesburg (1998-1999). He has exhibited widely in Africa, Europe, the U.S. and Japan and has participated in many international art workshops abroad.
